Today is a great day to adopt a pet! Not every puppy today is happy because they are in need of a good and loving home. If you have been on the fence about getting an adorable dog for your family, contact your local shelter or your favorite breed’s rescue organization in your city today. All these hounds need a forever home and you can help!
Even if you cannot have a dog, there are other ways to help, such as monetary donations, providing food, blankets, cleaning supplies, and toys to the dogs in these shelters and rescue organizations.
Today is also a great day to give your pouch a big kiss and let them know you appreciate them. If you are like me, you always want your pups by your side.
Thankfully, our best friends are always there when you need them.
If you like to shop, think about taking your dog shopping at a pet store today. Then, visit your local shelter and donate!
So, when you get home tonight, let them know you care by throwing a Frisbee or taking your cute pup for a walk or to the park (or if you are lucky enough to be close to the ocean– take that hound to the beach!).
They will enjoy it and make some friends too, like mine did on our recent trip to Carmel.
