Many people think that they can have a couple drinks and or beers, hang out for a couple hours or more, and be fine to drive later. Your BAC level will actually rise over an hour after you stop drinking. People normally have 2 or 3 alcoholic drinks, sometimes more, at the beginning of the night thinking that the alcohol will wear off and they will be fine to drive home. Unfortunately,
later in the night, the buzz has worn off, (or slowly decreasing) even though you feel fine.
